So, there are many authors and books that you've already listed that are among my favorite fantasy stories and others that I would like to add and recommand you.
I think that my first foray into the fantasy world was with Marion Zimmer Bradleylink and her Darkover series (I didn't read in English at that time, but the translation was quite good, and I bought almost all the series). I am surprise now to see that it as less stars on amazon.com that I thought they would have.
Jaymin Eve and Jasmine Washington with their series Curse of the Gods Book . The series is now complete. It's one of my favorite ones, with a totally crazy heroine, lots of fun,to die for heroes... totally recommand these books. Also by Jaymin Eve and Leia Stone: NYC Mecca Series
Patricia Briggs, of course, all the Mercy Thompson and the Alpha and Omega series which is more urban fantasy but one of my favorite ones, and she has good fantasy ones like The Hob's Bargain
I'll tell you tomorow the ones I love that were not mentionned here

I like all the suggestions, but thought I would comment on the Darkover books, because I haven’t seen them mentioned on these forums before. I have most of these as paperbacks, and a few of the later hardcovers.
Some favorite titles: “The Shattered Chain”, which was the first of the titles about the Renunciates, and “Heritage of Hastur” about the young Regis Hastur who would rule when the time came to interact with Terrans on their world. The world-building, with families that had different psy gifts of “laran”, and the societies arranged for women to continue these bloodlines (rather than pursuing separate lives or jobs), were all features of these books. Although MZB’s later books get more recognition (and her writing techniques improved — she had clearly started with the “pulps” and romance titles), I still like these books. They only seem to available in omnibus volumes grouped by themes in the US Kindle store, which may not be the best way to read them — hence also the lower ratings overall.

I have them alll as paperbacks either, but the kindle didn't exist at that time
So, this is a little collection of my favorite fantasy books that were not mentionned:
the Rise Of The Iliri : the last of the series will be published the 19th of Jully and I'm waiting it with great impatience. I'm going to re-read all the series before finishing it with the last one. It's as good as the Archangel's series by Nalini Singh (if you forget her last one that still infuriates me )
The Tainted Accords Box Set: The Complete Series it's a YA fantasy, but believe an old one like me, it didn't bother me one bit! So goooood, that I also bought the novellas with the other heroes of the series.

Re: Rise of the Iliri. Havoc isn't the last book in the series, it's the next to last. The author said it would be a 10 book series and Havoc is book 9.

But it is said that:"’s the final stretch of Auryn Hadley’s Rise of the Iliri series, and in this ninth installment, heart-stopping military action-adventure in battle is blended seamlessly with enough heady, complex sociopolitical commentary to delight both fantasy and science fiction readers—not to mention the steamiest of love scenes, sure to excite reverse harem romance fans."

In her FB author group, she talks about 10 books all the time.

Well, I don't know what to think, then. Do you follow the series like me?

I do. I got my husband and daughter hooked on them too. The author has said 10 books many times over the past couple of years.
Have you read her other series? The Wolf of Oberhame is fabulous! I like Demon's Muse but not as much as ROTI and Wolf. The Gamer girls series is gritty and good. I have not read the Dark Orchid series.
The other ones, I didn't, but I will surely. She has become one of my favorite author, and if I could talk my sisters into reading in English, I would recommend her to them, because she has not been translated in French (yet, but maybe someday, and hopping that the translation will do justice to her books).
