2) Can you post a quick lesson in how to quote? I just want to quote a sentence out of someone's post, not the whole post. I love the pretty boxes but can't seem to make one myself.
You can quote someone by using the quote button in the upper right hand corner of the reply box. This should then automatically quote their entire post and take you to a reply box where you can type your reply. Then hit post. To quote small sections of a post rather than the entire post, you will need to do it the long way.
There are two ways to manually insert a quote.
1. Type in the person's name (with a tag). 2. Type the word "said". Hit enter. 3. Copy the desired text to quote. 4. Click on the quote button to the left of the smile on the quick reply menu bar. 5. Paste the copied text inside of the two quote codes that appear from clicking on the quote button. 6. I delete the reference URL that is automatically generated when copying text from this forum. 8. After the end quote code hit return.
To insert another quote after the first quote, make sure you have returned at least once to separate the quotes. Then repeat the process above to insert another quote unless it's from the same person. Then I eliminate steps 1 and 2.
FYI - You can also manually insert the quote codes by typing the following -
1. To start a quote type [ q u o t e ] 2. To end a quote type [ / q u o t e ]
Do not add the spaces that are shown. I had to add them so the code would show.

Now that the Quick Quote plug-in has been installed on our forum, quoting is much easier. There's no need to hit the reply button first.
1. Highlight the text area you desire to quote. A quote button will then appear. 2. Click on the quote button.
The desired text has now been quoted and can be found in the quick reply area. If you desire to quote another text area, hit return to separate the two quotes and then repeat the process above. I've only been able to use the Quick Reply plug-in on my computer and not my tablet. To multi-quote replies on my tablet I have to manually do everything by following the process stated in the first post of this thread.
