I finished rereading one of my favorite books, Devil in Winter by Lisa Kleypas. Now I'm reading Kerrigan Byrne's latest, How to Love a Duke in Ten Days. I'm a few chapters in and liking it so far. It's a long one, 440 pages. It's been a while since I've read a book that long.

SJ is also another favorite. There aren't any books I really dislike from her. I don't even have to know what her books are about in order for me to get it. Are there some books I like better than others? Sure. But I find that that's the case with almost all the authors I read.
As for KB, she's the most hit or miss for me. I loved The Highwayman. I also really liked The Highlander and The Duke with the Dragon Tattoo. The Hunter and The Duke were okay. I hated The Scot Beds His Wife. Again I really disliked the h. When I don't like a book it almost always because of the h. As for her latest book, How to Love a Duke in Ten Days, it was another miss for me. It started out well, and even ended well, but there was so much that could have been edited out. It was way too long and became repetitive after a while. It should have been at least 100 pages shorter. I think there are supposed to be two more book after this one. One about Cecilia and the other about Francesca. And I can already tell you which one I'm more interested to read about. And that would be Cecilia. I didn't like Francesca as a background character so I doubt I'll like her as the h of her own book. This is why I'm glad I have a library card again. I won't waste money on a book that I'll end up giving away. So I may check out Francesca's book from the library.
