Now she’s here, and I realize that I can’t let her slip through my fingers again. But my enemies have also been watching. They thought they had finally found my weakness, but all they found was my trigger. Let them come. I’ll protect what’s mine.

There is also a trilogy volume: The Dominator Books: (Dark Mafia Romance Boxed Set: Books 1, 2, 3), where books 2 and 3 center around different characters (younger brother of H). This is also on KU, and if you read book 2, you'll want to get this set so you can also read book 3, since book 2 ends in a cliffhanger.
Since I've read this book, though it was almost a DNF, I'll comment that I would not include it in a thread of recommended mafia romance books.
The sample was engaging, and there was good potential in the original layout of the characters. However, the plot line meandered and repeated elements. I can imagine going back to check on this author at a later date, but this is the kind of book where, if an editor or support writing group had stepped in (since we're in an age without a lot of editor inputs and self-published writers) the results would have been tighter and better.
