Thanks, Sam! I tried reading it but I stopped after chapter 2 because the H was being such a jerk!! But now that you've said he redeems himself early, maybe I'll try again.
Nicole - He does. He's always going to be an alphahole but

He recognized he treated h like crap in the beginning and when she was hurt and lost her memory, he was there for her. When she found out she was pregnant, he claimed the baby. He knew there was a chance the baby might not be his but he didn't care. He figured it was his fault if h turned to another man and wanted her regardless. Mom and baby were his. I loved that. (She never slept with om.)

This is the first Julie Garwood I ever read, and I am sad to say I wasn't a fan. I know I'm the odd one out on this, but I have yet to find a Garwood book I really liked (don't shoot!). She spends a lot of time on what feels like "filler" dialogue that doesn't advance the plot at all. It makes me feel like I'm going around in circles and never getting anywhere with the characters. I've read Saving Grace, The Secret, Ransom and The Wedding. I gave The Secret and Ransom both 3*, but the other two were 1* reads IMO. I'm permanently scared off from Garwood's books, which stinks- because everyone else LOVES her! I guess something is wrong with me!

Different strokes! I've never read a Garwood so I can't comment. I do know that our reading diversity is a large part of what makes these boards fun. We all get to read about many different genres, and no judgement!
