alyrica - Add "The H uses date-rape drug on the h to get her pregnant" as a trigger in book 1.
This is going to sound all kinds of messed up but it isn't the actual use of the date rape drug that is the trigger. Don't get me wrong, I don't like rape or dubious consent in novels but my rage comes from the perpetrator(s) complete lack of regard for women and thinking that a female's only purpose or worth is to be used how he sees fit. Almost like she isn't even a person. Not sure if that makes sense or not. If it is a love/obsession kind of thing instead of a power/dominance thing, I will often get mad but not ragey....lol
alyrica - It makes sense to me. I think you and I think alike in many ways with regards to triggers. I don't like those things but it really depends on the story itself as to how I'll feel about it. I was ok with the H injecting the h with the hormone too because he didn't attack her, dominate her nor abuse her (discounting abuse as drugging which obviously is abuse).
I can tolerate a lot of things but not a H abusing the h with physical or mental abuse. It's a fine line to draw where the abuse begins because again kidnapping, drugging, force seduction are all abuse but the way the H treats the h especially during those times is key for me.
I can't wait to hear your thoughts. If you do decide to read book 3 (which I don't recommend), I can still loan it.

It's sad how many times I've wimped out on reading this book. I went to download it the other night but got Sigil instead. I didn't really like it so I only read about 40%. One of my excuses was that books 2 & 3 aren't on KU so thanks for the offer on book 3. Eventually, I will woman up and read this.
No I haven't even heard of this before. I used to be big into paranormals- Dragon Bound, Jeanine Frost, JR Ward, Cristine Feehan, etc. I also picked up Notice. Lol. I don't think I've ever read about a stalker. It's going to be fun!
