November 4 Graveyard Shift (Not Dead Yet Book 3) Jenn Burke I picked up book 1 but haven’t gotten around to it. It was on Amazon’s Bestseller list for awhile.
**~*~** Books posted here aren’t necessarily recs. Personally, I’m preordering Tough Guy. I might pick up Dead Man Stalking but I’ll prob wait for some reviews first.
November 4 Counter Culture JL Merrow No Amazon link yet. Hmmm, I doubt I’ll preorder (unless I get a coupon) but I’ll prob get this at some point.
The thing is...I don’t mind paying full price for new releases but there are just not that many authors (for me) that I can justify the cost vs my level of enjoyment.
September 3 Work for It: A Small-Town MM Romance Talia Hibbert 80,000 words. Sounds pretty good and I’ve enjoyed a couple MF books by her. Per the summary, this is a spinoff of the Just for Him series, which I have not read.
TJ Klune pulled his books from Dreamspinner. He’s self publishing (I think) and might miss the September 24 date. He recommends canceling preorders from Dreamspinner and not waiting for them to do it.

7$ is a hard sell. I usually enjoy her books, but 3-5€ seems to be the normal price range. I can wait for that.
There's also a short story of hers on preorder for September 28: All at Sea. But 2,14€ for 26 pages is way too high for me.
Short stories seem overpriced very often. Maybe they hope people don't check the page count?
@merrow Yeah, I’m not going to pay $7 for Counter Culture. If reviews are good and I like the sample, I’m willing to pay $5.38–most Dreamspinners seem to drop to this point pretty soon after release. At least here in the US. All at Sea might be longer. I read that authors have to upload a partial/placer file in order to list a book for preorder. I won’t pay that much for 26 pages either. I wish that more authors would combine several of these super shorts into an anthology.
I love (or at least really like) Jordan Castillo Price but I haven’t been willing to pay for her Quill Me Now series. Installments 2-4 are $2.99 each and all in the 80 pg. range. $10 for about 300 pages is kind of excessive to me.
You have me reconsidering the Arden books, lol. I loved his For Real.
December 31 Swipe TA Moore No Amazon link yet. Dreamspinner has it as part of her Bone to Pick (Digging Up Bones Book 1) series but it’s a new couple. The first 2 books featured the same couple and their story isn’t complete (at least not for me) so it’s disappointing that the series is taking this turn.
