TJ Klune pulled his books from Dreamspinner. He’s self publishing (I think) and might miss the September 24 date. He recommends canceling preorders from Dreamspinner and not waiting for them to do it.
I have this on my Pre-order Wish List at Ammy and it's still listed at $6.49, releasing the 24th. I will keep my fingers crossed.

The publisher on that edition is still listed as Dreamspinner so I think that this’ll become a defunct link. It’s no longer on the Dreamspinner site though. Your guess is as good as mine on how this’ll end up
September 13 Now You See Me Lynn Van Dorn Eh, I don’t like the teacher/student setup and the voyeurism aspect is squicky too. I kinda like the author but I think I’ll wait for reviews on this one.
Well, Heartsong by TJ Klune has been pulled from Ammy too and his website says "date postponed TBA". Darn it. Klune's Facebook page said it will be at least October before he can publish it (it takes 30 days to pull it or something like that). That means he's delaying the book after Heartsong to next August when it was supposed to be published in December because only giving Heartsong two months to stand alone before the next book is published isn't fair to Heartsong AND he has books due to another publisher in March. Now I'm very tired and about to go to bed but that's the news that is fit to print.
Now I'm mad at Dreamspinner and don't want to buy books from them anymore. Grrrrrr.
Then the 24th has several books but none of them are M/M so won't post them here. Had to make an exception for the Penny Reid book though, because....you know.....it's the Winston Brothers and they crack me up.
Here's an anthology I got an email about from Sloane Kennedy (a newsletter thing) that looks good. I've enjoyed these before (this is #3) so am hopeful I'll find some good stories in this one too.
Well, I'm bummed. I went to order HJ Welch's book that had been due out today and now Ammy is saying the release date is Friday the 20th. Darn. Or maybe it's always been the 20th and I just read it wrong. If so, I apologize because I noted the 17th in a previous post.
Well, now I can pick out a book to read that I already own. What a concept!
"The new Rownt contracts have helped Command retake the rebel planets. And now refugees are fleeing toward the edges of space. Ex-Command officer Tyce Robinson has a price on his head. He and the crew of the Dragon have all broken laws, and they refuse to be condemned to an Earth prison. Tyce's grand escape plan goes south when an alien ship attacks both his ship and the Command cruiser chasing them. With both ships disabled, Tyce throws a Hail Mary. What he doesn't know is that his academy roommate is the officer charged with arresting him.
Sub-Commander John Burden has always put his world first. He once thought his academy roommate Tyce was the same. Command sends John out with orders to arrest his ex-best friend, leaving John caught between demanding an explanation from the friend he remembers or throwing the traitor in a prison cell. But when unfamiliar aliens attack, his feelings are unimportant in the face of immediate danger. He has to survive, protect his people, and warn Earth that the Anla and Rownt are not the only aliens interested in humanity."
The Heart2Heart anthology I posted about on September 15th released today. I 1-clicked. :-)
I read Rocket Science by KM Neuhold and enjoyed it. It was predictable (you know, one player H thinking he is terrible boyfriend material and the other a shy genius nerd who has never had a boyfriend) but I loved the genius H. I can loan it and it's on KU. Rocket Science Kindle Edition by K.M. Neuhold (Author)
And I read Necromancer's Smile 3 by Lisa Oliver. These are a little darker than I typically like but it's from Lisa Oliver so I read it.
You know what I really liked? Drew and Mr Grumpy by Rinda Elliott and Jocelynn Drake. I couldn't believe it when I realized these are the same authors that write the Unbreakable Bonds series. The Unbreakable Bonds series can be pretty intense and the group of guys sometimes do shady if not illegal things to protect their group. Drew and Mr Grumpy from the Pineapple Grove series was lighthearted and fun -- and I was happy to find that the next book in the series is due out October 4th. :-) Drew and Mr Grumpy is lendable so let me know if you're interested in it. The next book is: All for Wesley (Pineapple Grove Book 3) Kindle Edition by Jocelynn Drake (Author), Rinda Elliott (Author)
All For Wesley released today (see my post above). I pre-ordered it last night so it would be in my kindle this morning. Yay! I just started the Heart2Heart anthology though so I may read it first, or at least some of the stories first, before I switch to the Wesley book. Happy reading everyone!
Well, I have to admit to being kind of disappointed in Wesley's book. Not sure what happened but I ended up skimming through the middle and reading the last 20%. Bummer. And I was really looking forward to reading his story. I still liked Wesley but I hated the other H (I've already blanked his name from my brain) so just wanted to finish. Oh well. Plenty of other things to read.
