<<This is me still not starting Undiscovered. I will one day. Honestly I will.
In the mean time, I have reread Awakened by Brenda K. Davies and read Wreck Me by Lane Hart and A Hero to Keep by Susan Gable. Now I have started rereading Into Your Arms by Abigail Strom. I'm on a reread kick for some reason.
SAB,let us know how you like it.I started it today, read the first few pages and had to lay it down for awhile. I love her books but she can write some really brutal scenes.
I just read Trickery Curse of the Gods Book 1 and Persuasion Curse of the Gods Book 2. I am really digging this series. Unfortunately, even though I told myself to wait until the series was completely written, self didn't listen.... gah.
Just read Sick Fux by Tillie Cole last night. If you like dark this is for you! I'm not sure I liked it but I was up until 1:30 cause I didn't want to put it down. Not a typical romance by any means and has just about all the triggers you can think of except cheating!
As much as I love the Hades Hangmen series and Raze, I'm pretty sure Sick Fux would be too much for me. I read some of the announcements from the author before its release, and some reviews over the last couple of days. For now at least I'm going to give this one pass.
tealadytoo--I've been buying the Phyllis Whitneys when they have been on sale.
I've only recently noticed that her books were available for Kindle and going on sale. I'm sure I missed several favorites before I tagged her on ereaderiq. Hopefully they'll come around again.
You can't get a cup of tea big enough or a book long enough to suit me.
— To Siri with Love: A Mother, her Autistic Son, and the Kindness of Machines by Judith Newman. This was a quick read which raised some interesting questions while also being enjoyable and touching. — The Mountain Between Us by Charles Martin which I enjoyed. I heard mention that a movie was going to be made of this story and thought I might like to see it; however, it appears that the movie is being panned. — Marie Lu’s Warcross was an enjoyable young adult science fiction read; it ended with an unexpected revelation and definitely leaves the door open for a sequel. I’ll likely read on when the next volume shows up. — the contemporary romance Sledgehammer (Hard To Love Book 2) by P. Dangelico which was a pleasant read. I don’t think that this is a book I’ll be rereading though I’ll likely read book three in the series when it’s published. — the male/male romance The Ghost Slept Over by Marshall Thornton which featured (surprise!) a ghost. This was not a scary book but nor was the ghost entirely benign. I enjoyed this and look forward to reading more by this author. — Pins and Needles by A.J. Thomas another male/male romance; this one had an element of suspense. I also look forward to reading more by this author.
