2020 Best Book of the Month/Year

Never done this before, but since I've been doing so much more reading I'll try it.

January- Tweet Cute by Emma Lord (Y.A)
February- Hello Stranger by Lisa Kleypas
March- Lothaire by Kresley Cole (Re-read)
April-Sea of Ruin by Pam Godwin,   Bossman by Vi Keeland (Re-read) 
May- Strange Love by Ann Aguirre (weird alien romance that worked somehow)
June- The House in the Cerulean Sea by T.J. Klune (  )
July- The Next Best Thing by Natasha Anders
August- Hands Down by Mariana Zapata (Still the slow-burn Queen)
September- Revved to the Maxx by Melanie Moreland ()
October- Famine by Laura Thalassa 
November- Birthday Girl by Penelope Douglas (older H and a forbidden romance. it definitely surprised me how much I enjoyed it.) 
December- Leo Loves Aries by Anyta Sunday (Re-read, still a great story.)

Best Read of 2020- Sea of Ruin by Pam Godwin. 
Dark, Historical, Romance, Pirates, Happy Ending for everyone. I never thought I would enjoy this book as much as I did, from the really pretty cover to the last page of the book. 

Runner Up- Revved to the Maxx by Melanie Moreland.
Age Gap, Romance, Mechanics, Quirky Heroine, Grumpy Hero, Happy Ending. It was a fun read but also comfortable read for me.

Best book of 2020:

I updated my list.  All but 2 of the books I read in May were rereads so it was easy to pick a favorite.  

I updated my list for June.  My pick was The Return of the Duke by Grace Callaway.  Even though we are nearly 7 months into the new year, this may be the best book of the year for me.

Best book of 2020: at this point I’m not convinced I’ll have a 5* read this year 😔

July was an excellent reading month, with several good and a few great reads. For a favorite, I'm going with
The Number of Love by Roseanne M. White.

I loved this book. It hit all my buttons. Interesting historical background. (Codebreakers of WWI). A math genius heroine. Nifty suspense. Inspirational content about Catholics for a change. What fun.

My August favorite was a last minute read, and a great story. My favorite of the Westcott series so far!
