What do people think of the Harlequin Comic Books on Amazon?

Lately, I've been on a kick of re-discovering of old Harlequin authors and it's been a lot of fun. However, not all the books I want to read seem to have been released on Kindle which is soooo disappointing! I don't think I've ever read any Jacqueline Baird / Michelle Reid (Lynne Graham used to be my go-to) but when I try to look up their most recommended titles, I often can't find an e-book or if there is a book on Amazon, it's a 'Harlequin comic' version only.
What I was wondering is, what do people think of these comic book versions? I did buy my fav Lynne Graham - "Bond of Hatred" but it did not pack the same emotional punch at all. Is it worth me buying the comic version of the ones I want to read?
