Bound by Forever
The third book in the series True Immortality, and so far my favorite but I have a werewolf bias.
Kiyo and Niamh meet because Kiyo is hired by Fionn to basically become her bodyguard because some bad guys (who were also chasing Rose) are now after Niamh. Niamh is a seer, and she has been setting up all the other couples in every book she has made an appearance.
Again it is a slow-burn romance and in this book Niamh is a virgin heroine, for anyone who like that trope it's here. There is a story there about an overbearing manw**** of an older brother who was a C**k blocker and then her just simply not going for it.
Our hero is an immortal werewolf, like literally he cannot die or be killed like the regular werewolves in this world. He's been alive for many many years and is full of broody sadness because of how he became a werewolf (not a sad story, since we just get told in a few sentences about his turning).
Niamh is bright and bubbly and not the kind of woman he would normally go for (he likes them for a good lay and then they each go their own way) someone said he was a manw**** but I didn't get that, I saw it as when he had needs he would find a willing woman and scratch an itch.
Kiyo's start with Niamh is rough, but Niamh tricks her way out of his grasp and only stays by his side because of something she sees and wants answers and to help Kiyo.
The big bad here is someone that has not once has been mentioned before, but still not really the big bad since we don't get much of the villain other than a few converstions with Niamh in two parts of the book and then of course towards the end when she helps out our main characters (for her own selfish reasons) take out a different villain.
A solid 3.5 stars for me, I enjoy Kiyo as a character and I thought Niamh was a decent heroine though here she was reduced to a female in distress instead of the kick butt heroine/person she was sort of portrayed in the other books. She kept getting away from the bad guys with the help of her mortal brother alone and made it all alone after he was gone... only to have her depend of Kiyo here most of the time there was some sort of danger.
