Do you like to read " cozy mysteries" i sure do! I love matching wits with Jane Marple, Hercule Poirot, Sherlock Holmes, Trixie Belden. During Christmas vacation I was introduced to the mystery author Ngaio Marsh and her detective Roderick Alleyn. I love her books, too. ( I'm still not completely certain how to produce the name Ngaio.)
I hope I posted this in the correct place. If not- i apologize

You posted in the perfect area. I like cozy mysteries. My first mystery books, many, many years ago, were Jane Marple, Hercule Poirot and Sherlock Holmes. They got me hooked at a very young age.
I am also a fan of the cozy mystery, enjoy a good mystery without all the gore and violence. I just finished listening to The Mysterious Affair at Styles by Agatha Christie, read by the delectable Richard Armitage. Its been many years since I enjoyed reading Agatha Christie so recently have been revisiting them in audio format. Some other authors I enjoyed when younger were Ellery Queen and Rex Stout.
I read Agatha Christie as a teenager. Discovered Dorothy L. Sayers rather recently. My favourites of late are Anne Cleeland (Acton and Doyle) and Emma Jameson (Lord Hetheridge) Georgette Heyer also wrote several murder mysteries. All very good.

When I was younger I adored the game of Clue. I also wanted to be Miss Scarlet. I always was little but disappointed when it turned out that miss Scarlet did the murder. 'It was Miss Scarlet in the library with the lead pipe' 'I'm innocent I tell you! It was that evil Prof Plum. I think he is really Prof Moriarty in disguise'
