This is what I remember. Heroine is waiting for the man she loves (childhood friend) to return from the US. She's waiting at his parents' home with his sister and elder brother (widower with a young son). The guy does come, but with a fiancee/ wife. H saves face for her by announcing they are engaged and later persuades her to marry him. They get along okay-ish and she's falling in love with him but he doesn't want any more children. Naturally, she falls pregnant and this causes strife between them. It ends and HEA ensues after he explains that his first wife died in childbirth (I think) and that's why he doesn't want more kids, he doesn't want to lose h. Not because he loved first wife so much.
If I'm not mistaken the book is set in New Zealand or Australia.
I have the book and it's driving me crazy to not be able to remember the name. Any leads will be appreciated. TIA
