I don't read much of this trope, but I finished Little Dancer by Brianna Hale yesterday and loved it. The heroine/little was perfect and the author did a great job of showing the Hero's strong need to be a caretaker. I gave it 4.5 stars because the beginning is a little unbelievable. But, it is a novella so I'm willing to accept an accelerated start to the romance for that. If you can suspend disbelief long enough to get past their first scene or two, it was a great book.
I really enjoyed Little Dancer. The next book in the 'series' Princess Brat was only ok. The 2 are completely unrelated so I'm not sure why they are a series.

I never read Princess Brat because I do not like the "bratty sub" characterization in BDSM. I did love The Protegé and Soft Limits by the same author.
BDSM isnt really my genre - I must have gotten the Little Dancer recommendation here though b/c it sat on my library WL for a long time. I read Princess Brat b/c I thought it was going to be related and I enjoyed LD so much. Nope. ftr, I didnt think she came off as bratty so much as very immature.
The library doesnt have any other books by that author right now.
