CR: Heroine was sent away as a teenager cause she was involved with her stepbrother

Hi,

Heroine's mom married hero's dad. Heroine and hero have sex? make out? and are caught (or otherwise found out). Heroine gets sent away to boarding school (in England maybe). She overhears the stepfather giving the hero an ultimatum - stay away from her or she gets sent away. He says send her away. She, rightfully I suppose, blames him for being sent away from her family.

Over the years, she keeps in contact with the rest of the family but never returns. At the beginning of the book, someone dies and she returns for the funeral and to help the brother she kept in contact with.
