Penelope & Gill (a viscount) lost a baby boy soon after he was born. They did not understand how to cope w/ their
grief. Some family members gave them bad advice. They lived in the same abode yet rarely spoke to each other,
for the last 5 yrs of their nearly 10 yr marriage. Rumors spread that Gill was unfaithful (untrue).
Pen went alone to Rose cottage (associated w/ Siren's Retreat) the scene of their honeymoon. She wanted an
annulment b/c she thought she was barren. Gill followed her. After venting their anger, they discussed &
owned how they contributed to the breakdown of their marriage.
What I liked best
1) each MC was celibate for 5 years! Not just the heroine!
2) they made love, not sex.
3) when Gill confronted the meddlers.
