This Victorian romance had kisses-only, sweetness & humor. Took place in Somerset & Bath.

Two neighboring families had a feud of 25+ years duration. Meg & Ivo became star-crossed because of this.
Meg was beautiful, shy, she stammered and she had red hair. Her horse threw her and she landed in the mud.
Ivo rescued her. He was kind. These 2 became friends. They secretly went riding, most mornings. Their
friendship turned into love. Ivo invited Meg somewhere & she later told him he'd humiliated her. Big mistake.
Meg's father had a short fuse. I like how Meg became more comfortable w/ assertiveness, with her father, the
hero, even with the servants. The feud was not resolved fully but the author started chipping away at it.
