Just in case if you still have problems creating a hyperlink for book titles, here's how it goes (screenshots included ).
1. Click on "Reply" on the top right of the reply box
This is what the "Reply" button will direct you to.
2. Click on the cute little "icon that looks like a blue globe with a piece of paper" (circled in red), as quoted from agreads and a pop-up will appear as shown below:
3. Enter the Book title and (optional) author in the first field followed by the URL of the book page into the bottom field.
Here's an example I've filled in. After you're done, click on the "Create Link"
Voilà! You've successfully linked a book title in your post.
To check if your link is correct, right click on it and select "Open link in new tab" or "Open link in new window". If it directs you to the right page, yay, you're done.
If the link appears to be incorrect, you can check the link under the BBCode tab (circled in red). The portion highlighted is the link. You can edit/replace it with the correct one and click on the Preview tab to go back. Another way is to delete the text and redo step #3.

I have a few dumb questions (I'm not computer savvy). If I want to type in a personal message before I post the link to a book do I type my message first and then click on the reply button to create the link?
When I type the title of my book that I wish to link do I have to type in the name of the book and then enter "- A Novel"?
When I post the URL do I type "https://www.amazon.com/title-of-my/book" or do I need to add the rest of the "stuff" in the address?
If I want to type in a personal message before I post the link to a book do I type my message first and then click on the reply button to create the link? - If you want to type a personal message in the body you can add this anywhere. You can use @ username to tag that person (without a space). If you want to look and make sure it works. Click the reply button in the right corner and then type in your post. It brings up the full menu with the preview/bbcode buttons in the bottom left corner. You can do this in the middle of a post and it will keep what you have written.
When I type the title of my book that I wish to link do I have to type in the name of the book and then enter "- A Novel"? No you don't have to. It can say what you want. But at least the title is desirable so we know what the name of the book is at least.
When I post the URL do I type "https://www.amazon.com/title-of-my/book" or do I need to add the rest of the "stuff" in the address? If the link will take you to the book page without all the stuff at the end then no you don't need to post it. If the link won't work without it then yes you would need to add it.
Banana Boat You can type your message before the link if you wish, after it, or insert the link in the middle of your message. The location within the message does not alter the process for posting the link.
The title you type in does not need to say "a novel". You can make the title as long or short as you want to. For example, you could title it "Midnight Angel" instead of typing out "Midnight Angel (Midnight Series Book 3)." Whatever you type in will be the text that appears as a link.
The url requires the whole address. Whatever appears in the url address of the book page needs to be what you copy and paste into the url for your link here.
I hope this helps! If you have more questions, please ask or send a pm. We will be glad to walk you through it.

Another question... How do you link 2 or more books in the same post? I posted a book in the time travel thread (yay, it worked) and had another I wanted to enter but no reply button after creating the first link. Do I create a new post? Thanks, again.
You can post multiple links in the same reply by repeating the process after clicking "create link". Just click the blue globe icon again and enter the info for the new link.
If you clicked "post quick reply" to post your comment, and then want to post a second comment to the same thread, you may need to refresh the page for the reply box to show up again.

Bruin Girl - It can be deleted. Go to the upper right hand corner of your post's box. There's a star symbol thing with an arrow pointing down. Click on the arrow. The arrow gives you a few options and one should be to delete your post.

I did a test to see if I could link a book through the App. It worked but it didn't give the link as just a book title. Any ideas on how to to this & I can't figure out how to delete my above post.
Lol I had to refresh the app to see that my post was deleted. Example on how the link looks when I add a link through the App.
