My favorites are too many to list here, but I do love Heather Graham's HRs, Balogh, Georgette Heyer, Jane Austen, Judith McNaught's HRs, Elizabeth Woodiwiss, Betina Krahn, Mary Jo Putney and the late great Edith Layton!
Here comes the sun even though I love that rainy day feeling!

I just want, in the tradition of the old thread on Amazon, thank whoever recommended the book "The Lost Letter" from Mimi Matthews. mimi matthews the lost letter (I tried very hard to create a link, my first, I hope it worked, it looks a bit strange.......) I very much enjoyed the book, at first I thought it is just more of the same: scarred hero, nice Heroine, but I cannot explain it why, something in this book was very nice and touching, at least for me.
Bevor that I read "Ridiculous" by D.L. Carter (sorry, one link per post is enough for me at the moment) but although it is considered very funny I didn't see the humor in it, I was not very enthusiastic about it. And a short question: has somebody read something from Sarah Mallory? She has not much reviews but those are are rather good.
And I want to add: thanks to all who worked so hard to create "Romance Book Lovers" I am very happy and thankful about it.
I am listing this subject as it was on the Amazon discussion forum and hoping everyone will follow to this thread.
Hello? lol I am not up to speed on this site, but I am hoping I will figure it out fast.
Hi georgettausten,
At the moment I'm reading Duke's Prefer Blondes by Loretta Chase which if I remember was discussed on the old site ( I was a lurker) and I'm pretty sure OLT gave it 5 stars. I'm enjoying it very much 😊
Hi Tangerine-----
I started the thread "Need a Good Historical Romance" on Amazon. I copied it on flash drive, b/c there were so many good book recs & I really felt the mostly women posters became like a little family. There was much humor and support. There was little controversy except politics and I asked posters to please refrain from this topic. Signed former MovieLover, now mlover.

I love Carla Kelly, Judith McNaught, Lisa Kleypas, Julia Quinn, Teresa Medeiros, Sarah Eden,Julie Garwood, Stella Riley, and Mary Balogh. I reread theirs because the characters and plotting stay in my mind and heart.
One of my favorite authors is Erica Ridley. She wrote the 8-book Dukes of War series. The first one, The Viscount's Christmas Temptation, is free. The second one, The Earl's Defiant Wallflower, has one of my all-time favorite romance heroes.
Another recently discovered author is Manda Collins. Her series, Studies in Scandal, is really good. The first two books are Ready, Set Rogue and Duke with Benefits. The third book is due out in January. She also has a couple of other series that I am on hold for from the library.

Hi Robin---- Does Sarah Eden exclusively write HRs? Can you name a few you like? Thank you.
