Tracking (email notifications) threads you want to follow

Someone asked about tracking/following/getting emails about threads we're interested in following (the way ammy used to do) in one of the general chat thread/topics... I thought I'd post my answer here too, where anyone else wondering how could easily find it:
If you go to your profile (along the top where it says: Home, help, search, members, profile, etc) click profile,
then click on edit profile (to the right of your username & avatar near the top of the page),
then click on the notifications tab (under where it says "edit profile & settings"),
you can then select the items you want notifications for (like all new posts, posts in threads you've participated in, threads you've bookmarked, etc) and choose how often you'll get emailed update notifications. Your email should have been setup when you joined, if it's not correct, you can change that under the "personal" tab in "edit profile & settings".
If you want to track a thread you've not yet posted in, bookmark it - at the top of the open thread you want to track, where it says "actions" click on that then select "bookmark". Hope this helps.
