I'm always on the lookout for good May/December romances. I prefer if they have an actual plot rather than just erotic short stories (although I read those, too, on rare occasions). This theme is more common in HR, so if you rec an HR I'd like a significant age difference, at least 15 years or more. Some of my favorites are
The Surprise of His Life by Karen Keast Falling for Grace by Stella Bagwell At Long Last Love by Gina Wilkins Just a Number by AD Ryan KCPD Protector by Julie Miller The Admiral's Bride by Suzanne Brockman Little Dancer by Brianna Hale (BDSM) The Boss Series by Abigail Barnette (BDSM)
Buy Me Sir by Jade West is one of my favorites. Hero is an 44 years old divorcee while the heroine is his 19 year old housekeeper. It has a plot, and the sex it's otherwordly! You have to give it a chance.
Kulti by Mariana Zapata. Temptation by Charlotte Lamb.
Scandalous (Sinners of Saint #3) by L.J. Shen. (H is 33yrs old, h is 18)
El Diablo by M. Robinson. I didn't like this one but it fits this theme. Forbid Me (Good Ol' Boys #2) by M. Robinson.
Monster in His Eyes by J.M. Darhower. Hero's in his 40's while heroine is 20 years old.
Four Crows by Lily White. Heroine is the same age as hero's son.
The Accidental Bride MOC, h marries best friends dad. It's not creepy at all IMO. I really liked this book.
The Best Intentions I remember Hero is a widower and doesn't want to marry the heroine because he thinks she's child, I'm just not sure if the age difference is more than 15 years.
Thanks for the recs! I see several that I have not read.
We Shouldn't and Yet... by Stephanie Witter. I kept trying to remember the name of this book and finally did. It was a surprisingly good read if you like age gap romances. I first read it through KU early this year and immediately bought it after I finished it.

Fearless - Lauren Gilley. Several of the various couples in this series have quite and age difference. I think Mercy is in his mid 30s and Ava is 22, Ghost (Ava's father) was in his mid 30s when he married Maggie (Ava's mother) who was just 17. 🎃

I believe everyone here is familiar with Diana Palmer hence no one mentioned her books. But still putting her name out there for anyone unaware of her. The Surprise of his Life by Karen Keast is one of my favorite books and one that made me fall in love with this genre.
There are some menage authors who also use this theme in their novel.
It was 5+ stars for me. Gilley does a good job of writing really good stories about older H/younger h. I don't think there has been one book I've read by her that I didn't like.
agreads, I don't think its really necessary. You do however get a better idea of the various players.
Do you agree, JudyB?
I agree Banana Boat. It could be read as a standalone but all of the characters except the h are in the previous books. I fell in love with Candyman, the H, when he appeared in the other Lean Dog books. I would highly recommend reading Snow In Texas (Lean Dogs Legacy Book 1). But fair warning, in Snow in Texas, the h is older than the H. Usually that doesn't work very often for me but in this book it did. The h in Snow, Jenny, is the sister of Candyman, the H in Tastes Like Candy. Here's my review for Snow if you want to check it out.....https://www.goodreads.com/review/show/1539665482?book_show_action=false&from_review_page=1
