Not sure where I should post this but here goes......I'm a big fan of Lisa Ladew's One True Mate series and on October 8-10, several other authors published books written under the Kindle Worlds umbrella. So their books coincide and tie into Lisa Ladew's series. I bought two of the KW books because I got notifications from the authors (P Jamison and Moxie North) and liked them. Then I wondered if other authors would be doing the same thing -- and voila! -- found several more authors that I can now try, and they're writing in a world I already enjoy.
I'm trying to keep myself from spending $1.99 on 10 or so books all at once. I think I'll pick one book, give it a go, then buy another. But it will be very hard to be so disciplined. :-)

Lauren Gilley's newest book, book 1 in this series, White Wolf, will be released 2 weeks from today, Nov 1st. The emails I've received tell me that it's about vampires and werewolves or shifters. Sounds like the story starts in Russia many years ago. This is her first attempt in writing paranormal. She sends an email once a week with bits and pieces of her books and I'm really looking forward to this one! π

Hmmm, interesting! Her biker books get huge raves - I have a bunch in Mount TBR that I'll get to eventually, but if the new paranormal direction is as good as they apparently are, it should be an interesting read at the very least.

Thanks for your post.

Why be disciplined? I know I have none when it comes to books, lol.

I love her (Lauren Gilley) biker books and if this new series is anything like her biker series I'll be a happy camper. The emails, with photos, are very intriguing. π
Got another email (newsletter) from Lee Oliver / Lisa Oliver. I posted this in the M/M thread too but in case anybody here is interested, this one is about a warlock summoning a demon to help him get a childhood friend out of purgatory. I just started it this morning but so far, so good. I've liked all the books of hers I've read so she's an auto-buy for me. It's lendable if any of you are interested.
Samantha K, I'm not sure how to reply back to your post so I'll reply in a new box. I'm afraid if I bought all 10 +/- books at one time then I'd end up not reading some of them. So it's better if I buy one at a time (okay -- so I bought three more just yesterday -- you got me). :-)
And JM Madden had one come out on Tuesday but I got burned after buying her last book. The price dropped within a week or two after I had bought it so I figured I'd wait this time. Or at least, that's what I remember...... have any of you read Naughty by Nature yet? Naughty by Nature by JM Madden
Samantha K, big pleasure. Though I have to confess I do know the author but I love the grave robber books. I've been nagging her for the next one.
No problem. π I wouldn't have noticed the book had you not mentioned it. I rarely "look" for books anymore due to a huge tbr list and plenty of awesome recs from others. This book looks good and the premise sounds interesting to me. I definitely want to read it.
Kati Wilde published a werewolf-romance yesterday: High Moon. I loved it, but I am a fan of her writing in general. This is an inter-racial romance, the hero is alpha but not an asshole, the heroine is not an helpless idiot, and best of all; they actually talk to each other! (been reading a lot of romances with unnecessary drama lately and feeling a little frustrated). The sex is very hot and the romance is very sweet, so if you like hot werewolf-cowboys that love their mates more than life itself, you should go read the sample.
