Looking through my unread books of 2019 and I found this gem. I don't remember buying it but I did and I am going to read it and see if it's any good. I saw some reviews that compared it to SEP, and I love SEP and her football romance series. Chicago Stars all the way! Hopefully it is good.
EASY RIDE - The South Florida Riders Series - Book 3
Star quarterback Chase Kennedy has had everything -- and every woman -- he ever wanted. Except Whitney Cooper. She's been his best friend since kindergarten and his soft place to fall when life gets too hard. But when she comes to him for lessons in love, temperatures rise, clothes fall off, and it's way too easy for their friendship to turn into something much sexier.
Chase:
I'm not gonna lie, I dig my position as the top scoring playboy on the South Florida Riders. As the biggest name on the team, huge wins, bright lights, and beautiful women have all come easy to me. Everything has...except Whitney. I don't score with her. I've lived firmly in her friend zone since I could write my name. It works for us, since Nit Whit's looking for a husband, home, and 2.5 kids...and I just want to bang my way to the next big game. But now she thinks she's found the perfect guy and needs an assist in the sack. I'm happy to help, but the closer we get to a touchdown, the more serious this game is getting.
Whitney:
As an ER nurse, I'm no stranger to the human body. But when it comes to using that body in the bedroom, my resume is a little light. So when I meet a guy who fits every one of my strict critera for the husband I think I want, it only seems right to get some expert advice from my best friend. Because no one knows sex like Chase Kennedy. That might be the reason we've never been more than friends, and why this sexy little playdate has to be strictly educational. But with each lesson I learn about his favorite subject, I can feel myself falling for my teacher...and with Chase, that pretty much guarantees a broken heart.
It all started at the pool party. He was there, I was there, and our friends thought we’d be perfect for each other.
Not only is Tom McCullin a hockey player on my favorite team, he’s also a gorgeous, glove-dropping defenseman straight out of my wildest fantasies. He’s almost too good to be true.
His teammates call him Micky, but to me he’s Tom. And damn it all if the chemistry between us doesn’t wind up being amazing. Turns out we can’t keep our hands off each other, but it’s our secret. We’re not ready to share what we have with anyone else.
So, while our friends keep wondering why things aren’t happening between us, little do they know that I’m already…
I have not read it yet. But there is a virgin baseball player who is trying to lose his v-card and a heroine who is die hard fan and needs the winning streak to go on. So of course his skills and winning streak come from his v-card and not his hard practice.

Ever since she sat next to me in class and gave me death eyes, Willa Sutter’s been on my shit list. Why she hates me, I don't know. What I do know is that Willa is the kind of chaos I don’t need in my tidy life. She’s the next generation of women’s soccer. Wild hair, wilder eyes. Bee-stung lips that should be illegal. And a temper that makes the devil seem friendly.
She’s a thorn in my side, a menacing, cantankerous, pain-in-the-ass who’s turned our Business Mathematics course into a goddamn gladiator arena. I'll leave this war zone unscathed, coming out on top…And if I have my way with that crazy-haired, ball-busting hellion, that will be in more than one sense of the word.
Willa
Rather than give me the lecture notes I missed like every other instructor I’ve had, my asshole professor tells me to get them from the silent, surly flannel-wearing mountain man sitting next to me in class. Well, I tried. And what did I get from Ryder Bergman? Ignored. What a complete lumbersexual neanderthal. Mangy beard and mangier hair. Frayed ball cap that hides his eyes. And a stubborn refusal to acknowledge my existence.
I’ve battled men before, but with Ryder, it's war. I’ll get those notes and crack that Sasquatch nut if it’s the last thing I do, then I’ll have him at my mercy. Victory will have never tasted so sweet.
Only When It’s Us is a frenemies-to-lovers, college sports romance about a women’s soccer star and her surly lumberjack lookalike classmate, complete with a matchmaking professor, juvenile pranks, and a smoking slow burn. This standalone is the first in a series of new novels about a Swedish-American family of five brothers, two sisters, and their wild adventures as they each find happily ever after.
She says she doesn’t date players. She swears up and down that she’ll never handle my stick. We’ll see about that, sweetheart. When I win the pleasure of Harper’s company at a charity auction, I get exactly one date—one shot to win over the gorgeous and feisty brunette. Game on. I play hard, and I love a challenge. But just when I think I’ve finally carved out my shot . . . a huge secret implodes around us, threatening everything we’ve built. What to expect: A hunky, determined hockey player. A hard-to-win-over heroine. Exposed secrets, steamy good times, and a male-only romance book club. Yes!
BREAKING NEWS: The Bad Boy of Baseball, Maddox Paige, is totally and utterly whipped. Okay, that might not be the headlines in the newspaper this morning, but it's the reality of my current situation. It all started a month ago when I received a call from my best friend, Kinsley. She got a new job in Chicago and needed a place to stay. I've known the girl since I was five, what harm would it be to have her stay at my place for a while? Ha! Total disaster. Now instead of going out every night with my teammates, I'm couch surfing and sketching endless photos of my best friend . . . but that's the least of my concerns. The disaster, you ask? I'm rapidly falling head over cleats in love with my best friend, my roommate, and my number one fan. And she has no idea . . .
I’m a simple guy. I love football. I hate sports reporters. No matter how luscious they are.
Tate Chloe Smith is dangerous. I know this the minute she stalks me into the training room for a story. She’s too ambitious to be trusted and too beautiful to be ignored.
Chloe Tate Fontanna is ridiculous, playing hurt as if he’s irreplaceable. Another one-track minded jock. But he’s too decent to be dismissed and too hunky not to want. Badly.
Tate Bad press is the last thing I need in a contract year and I need to avoid it at all cost. But avoiding Chloe is a lot harder than it should be.
When the sh*t hits the fan, can I trust her? Or will she betray me?
There were plus signs; double pink lines; double blue lines; double black lines; two dots; a smiley face; a big Y; and the topper, the one that just announced it: PREGNANT. “Oh, no,” I breathed out.
Oh, yes, she sure is! Camdyn Riordan is not ready to have a baby—she’s the one who lost the class guinea pig in second grade, she’s the one who now won’t keep a boyfriend long enough to leave a toothbrush at his house! And there’s another wrinkle: the father is César Hidalgo, the famous football player, the guy who ran out of her house so fast after their night together that he left a jet trail in his wake. The guy with a list of past girlfriends as long as his hard, muscular arm. They’re going to be parents, but first, they’re going to be roommates, and then maybe they’ll be friends. But there is no way—NO WAY—that this is going to turn into some kind of love story, no matter how much Camdyn likes him, no matter how sweet he is, no matter anything. Absolutely not. Even though César is pretty much the ideal, if a woman was interested in something like a permanent future with a gorgeous, muscled-up guy who also likes to cook. That’s not what Camdyn wants—she’s positive, as positive as all those pregnancy tests! But life does have a funny way of moving your goal line…
A benchwarmer? Nope, Teddy Hayes can really start her up!
Second-string. That’s been Ellie Wilde’s position in life. The daughter of a superstar quarterback and his model wife, Ellie could have been beautiful, tough, desirable—a winner, just like her parents. It didn’t quite work out that way, but she’s satisfied with things as they are. She has a great job with a professional football team…which would be perfect, except that she’s a really just a gofer with her office in a janitor’s closet. She has a great boyfriend…or he would be, if he was aware of her existence, and wasn’t just the object of her 10-year, secret crush. Yeah. There are a few issues, but Ellie doesn’t dwell. Her life takes a definite turn when she meets Teddy Hayes, recently promoted to play on her team as the backup quarterback. He’s gorgeous, funny, and struggling. He has the opportunity of a lifetime to play in the pros, but he’s messing it up, and his personal life isn’t much better. Maybe Ellie can help him, both on and off the field, and maybe he can do the same for her… Maybe both these benchwarmers can step up to the big time and score—together.
