I'm re-reading too - Cherise Sinclair's Mountain Masters & Dark Haven series. The stories flow so well, she is a great BDSM writer and a great story teller. Love her Doms.
I love her books, waiting on her next one.
I agree with both of you! She's on my re-read list but I am waiting for the new book to be announced before I start re-reading her.
Which couple (or mfm) is your favorite in her books?

I think If Only is my fav too. Although it's a really tough choice. I also enjoy Laura and Dan. And deVries and Lindsay from the Dark Haven series.
I also enjoy Lexi Blake's Masters and Mercenaries series. It's almost as good as Shadowlands.
I'm very fussy and haven't read much that I would actually recommend. Lora Leigh writes a series called Bound Hearts. The first book - Surrender - is very good. I'd recommend that one for sure.
On His Knees (Blasphemy) by Laura Kaye. While the first books in the Blasphemy series were m/f, this one is m/m. I had preordered it and it downloaded a few minutes ago.
agreads - how would you say these two authors compare to Cherise Sinclair or Lexi Blake? Similar, totally different?
The two things I personally prefer not to read about are humiliation as punishment and cheating.
Laylah Roberts is average at best. I have read a couple of others in this series and none of them have been above 3.5 stars. Book 7 was 3 stars for me. They're fast reads and not terrible, but not ones I'd ever reread.
I have been enjoying Laura Kaye's Blasphemy series. She does have a tendency to tell more of one character's story than the other. In this one, we learn a lot more about the sub while the Dom remains a bit one dimensional due to lack of history. The books in the series tend to be pretty sweet and can cross the line into cheesy. Books 1 and 2 were great reads. I didn't care for book 3 and think I gave it 3 stars. The novella Eyes on You was really good for a short novella, but beware of instalove and sugary sweetness. I did enjoy On His Kness and will probably rate it 4 stars. It could have been 5 if we had been given more back story on Master Alex.

Wow, thanks. That's great information. Sounds like I'd skip the series by Roberts. I might try the Kaye's series. I appreciate you taking the time to give me the details. It really helps.
secretromancejunkie I can loan you book 1 in Laura Kaye's series if you want to try it. Or any of them, actually. There are 2 novellas I have not read and don't have, but I have books 1-4 and Eyes On You.

Thanks! I'll PM you when I finish the shifter series I'm reading now.
I've just finished 'Just For You, Sir" Laylah Roberts and rated it 3 stars. One of the stars was because it was free. I loved Laura Kaye's Bound to Submit - great characters and a strong story.

So....a two star story that you at least didn't have to pay for? Is that about right?
I think my favorite of Sinclair's The Shadowlands is Servicing the Target. I love the aspect of her (the Domme) moving beyond her previous limitations as well as him coming to realize how it works for him, and when her father gets confronted, and the guys all coming round, etc. Wow! I cried at one point, but I"m not going to tell you which. If you've read it, bet you can guess! And yep, when her world falls apart!
Second would be This is who I am. I loved Sam, even if he is a sadist & I'm not really into that area, but she had to learn to stand up for what was best for her, not what folks thought it should be, including her family! Honestly, I love the whole series, so I could argue at times that they're all my favorites!

kc - yes, I agree. I loved Sam and how he spoke to her kids about their behaviour. And servicing the target was another of my favs. The Enforcer is another one I loved. The compromise they came up with was great.
Pretty much you can name any Cherise Sinclair book, and I'll say "Oh, I LOVED that one!!"
