Sorry I only slept about 4 hours last night so my brain is not it's best right now. So let me go take my driving written test for renewal now lets hope thats a good idea.
You're probably a better driver with your brain not working the best and only 4 hours of sleep than most of the drivers I seem to encounter lately. Urgh! I hope you do well on your driving test and are able to get more sleep!
Well thank goodness it's only a written test, I found a practice one line and did fine but you know after so many years driving I did get a little nervous, what will I do if I don't pass lol.
...and yes unfortunately I agree with you most drivers I see can't drive for anything and we have tons of construction right now which brings out the worst in people thats only better than when it snows, you would think driver have never seen snow here and it snows all the time her in the winter.

I don't blame you, lol. I would feel the same. I haven't had to take the written test in 32 years! I would be freaking out!

It snows here a lot too and people are idiots in the snow. It's crazy.

This is only the second time I have ever taken a written exam(I didn't have to when I first got my license) but they make you here every so many years, and I guess thats good anyways I usually renew through the mail but they just got federally complaint licenses here and I need one for getting on planes.

A million years ago when I was first getting my license, age 16, I studied the written test my mom had taken the month before. Boy did I get lucky because I ended up getting the same exact test. Because I was so nervous I guess I memorized mom's test which means I aced my test. ๐

Lol thats great. My daughter who is 16 was saying the test was really easy and she's right. I passed by the way I did accidentally skip a question and answer 1 wrong because we have touch screen for our tests on the computer and it was acting funny at times and I would have to much the answers multiple time or maybe I wasn't patient enough. I didn't even finish it though since it stopped when I had so many right so yay. I'm sure my family is happy I can continue to be the chauffeur.
I loved those books (Warriors of Hir) when they came out, I actually got an ARC or Beta copies(I can't remember which since it's been a while) for books 2 and 3. I was so sad she dropped this series/ pseudonym. She writes most of her books as another name and I guess she dropped this one/series maybe it didn't do as well as her others. I remember JudyB(pretty positive it was JudyB) and I both tried to contact her since it had been so long since we heard from her but we never heard back form her.
I was aware that she also wrote as Ariel MacArran (or something like that) but had no idea she dropped Willow Danes and the Warriors of Hir series. That surprises me, especially since she had a cover, title and description for the fourth book in the series. Too bad. I guess it's time to remove it from my "to read" shelf and delete her as a followed author then
I don't think anyone has mentioned Anna Carven's Dark Planet Warriors series. If you like the Ice Planet Barbarians (which I love) you will probably like this series too. I certainly would not mind a Kordolian of my own.
I like all of V.C. Lancaster's books (she's working on a new Gandry book - yay!), some of Poppy Rhys' and Venemous by Penelope Fletcher. Most of my other favourites have already been named, but I think these have not been mentioned:

bookwyrm - I've read a few of the Dark Planet Warrior books and I loved them. I've also read V.C Lancaster's books and Venemous and loved them too! I didn't like Penelope Fletcher's follow-up book to Venemous at all.
After years of not reading romance I got back into it in 2005 and the book that started me reading romance again was Femme Metal from Ellora's Cave. The heroine was in her 40's who falls in love with an Alien.

Femme Metal by Natalie Gray
Welcome Tippi! I just looked for this book on Amazon as I've never heard of it and I couldn't find it. Bummer!

Hope you did well on your driving test.
Well to be fair I don't know she dropped this series officially I just assume that since it's been over 2 years since book 3 was released(July 28, 2015). I didn't know her other name. Have you ever read them? What did you think if you have? ....and yes I passed my test it wasn't hard but it still made me nervous, you can't survive without a license where I live and it's been sooooooo long since I took a written test it just automatically made me nervous
