If I have a question about a book recommendation, is this where I post that question? Or should I post it right there in the recommendation thread? See question below —
agreads or others that have read Tricking Chase
Tricking Chas has this note - AUTHORS NOTE: Tricking Chase is directly tied to The Protector (Book 3 in the Sizzling Miami series) and can not be called a standalone. Do you agree with this? Or do you think I can read without reading The Protector?
Is there cheating? Is the Dom with others? OM or OW? after he rescues and brings sub home? Thanks! Carole Ann

Welcome Carole Ann! I'm so happy to see you here!
If someone mentioned a book in a different thread, feel free to post your question there if you want. You can also post it here of course. Either way works. I'll tag agreads so she sees your post.

I have not read The Protector and had no trouble with Tricking Chase. There are side characters that you know have been introduced in other books, but I thought enough info was given so that I wasn't lost.
I want to say that there is some sharing among the subs, Chase and another Dom's subs, but I can't remember how far the scene goes. I will have to look it up again. The first Dom who had Chase tries to get him back so there is some suspense there, but that's more like stalker ex than OM drama.

Thanks, agreads! Sharing not the same as cheating to me unless one of the partners doesn’t want to share/be shared. Still don’t like it when dom takes another sub though generally.

I absolutely loved Tricking Chase. They were perfect for each other.
I finally finished NR Walker's Turning Point series. I loved the series and the 2 MCs. However, I did think it was a little weird how the POV suddenly changed to Kira over halfway through the 3rd book. Has anyone else read this and thought that was strange? After over 2&1/2 books of one POV, I think it might have been better to finish it out with Matt and then maybe have a long epilogue from Kira's POV.
For the whole last part of book 3 I kept having to stop and remember I was Kira's head now and not Matt's. Maybe if I hadn't read them back to back, it wouldn't have been a problem.
Mary Calmes has a new one out in 10 days and I can't wait. It's called Kairos. The blurb makes it seem like the Marshals series thought. In love with your partner and etc...I hope she is not recycling plot lines like she does character personalities.
I got an email from Lisa Oliver (I'm signed up for them) and she said book 2 in the Balance series is up for pre-order and it will be out on December 13. I didn't read the first book. Wondering if any of you did and what you thought of it.
Crave (Brawlers 1) - JM Dabney - this was kinda slow. Took Crave 4 yrs to make his move on Twitch coz of his issues. Also, not totally safe in that Crave had hook-ups at the start after he met Twitch although he stopped having hook-ups after a while and way before he really went after Twitch.
Psycho (Brawlers 2) - JM Dabney Psycho was oddly sweet in his own weird way. I liked his courtship with Ben. I liked that Ben was older (40s) and shy and sweet and a bit pudgy and not super built. Psycho just said whatever on his mind and didn't know how to date. It was funny in some parts.

ana, could I read Psycho without reading Crave? It's not like I need any more books on my Mt TBR but Psycho looks interesting. :-)
hi ltr , yes! Psycho was the first book I read from this author and I enjoyed it so much that I read all the other books by the author. Psycho was really fun, it's my fave from JM Dabney
Psycho did not have any filter and he was utterly clueless on how to date but he really wanted to have a serious relationship. It was fun reading about his wooing Ben.
Question -- I got an email from Lisa Oliver (supernatural mm love) and I am wondering if any of you know what went on with her social media? She said "a horrible thing happened on Facebook today" and said a couple of someones thought they could control what she does and even take credit for her work under the guise of friendship. I don't go on FB much and am not a member of her group but am curious to know what happened. I figured you'd be the best people to ask. :-)
