Question -- I got an email from Lisa Oliver (supernatural mm love) and I am wondering if any of you know what went on with her social media? She said "a horrible thing happened on Facebook today" and said a couple of someones thought they could control what she does and even take credit for her work under the guise of friendship. I don't go on FB much and am not a member of her group but am curious to know what happened. I figured you'd be the best people to ask. :-)
The series is a paranormal MM romance. Mileage may vary, I liked some points and it was ok to finish for me. For those who like fairytales and otherworldly beings with magic elements, the books are a quick and short read.
Dang -- I read Coach's Challenge from Avon Gale and loved it -- and thought I had read the first four books in the series but now I don't think I did. I think I was mixing her up with Catherine Gayle who also writes a hockey series but it's M/F. Anyway, I was excited when the Brooklyn Library had two of the books in Avon Gale's series (and I own book 1) but.....it's only in epub. Now I have to figure out how to read it. I have had no luck converting the two acsm files to mobi. Any ideas?

If there are any hockey fans among you, the NHL All Star weekend is here! The Skills Competition is going on right now and the big game is tomorrow at 3:30 pm EST. Yay!!
The world-building interested me. The books have editing errors (spelling, grammar) but I mostly ignored those as I liked the overall arc and I liked most of the couples
I finished Out of Focus and loved it. I can loan it if anyone is interested. I ended up with two copies because it is included in the bundle titled Three, and I also have the single book. The BDSM is moderate but a really light moderate (some pain play but very mildly done).
Not that I have any business picking up something new but these caught my eye.
On His Knees was really good. Mild (IMHO) sado-masochism. It fits well into the series although I did want more backstory on Master Alex. Typical writing per the series, as in it gets a little sweet toward the end. At least the Dom acted like a Dom, though. After the last book, I was starting to have my doubts. I gave it 4 stars. Would have considered 4.5 if Alex had been given more history.

I have not read Wild Trail.
I loved On His Knees!! I generally don't like BDSM types but it worked really well here. Their smexy times were sweet and hot at the same time.
