When you read: Do you see a movie? Hear words? Other?

I usually see a movie and I imagine actors or singers in these roles. I have a go to prototype when a H is described as tall, big muscled (Jason Momoa) I just alter his hair and beard (or imagine it away), Enrique Iglesias for tall and skinny, Aldis Hodge or Idris Elba for tall dark and handsome. I do the same for the h's, my go to actresses are Michelle Williams, Lupita Nyong'o, Zoe Saldaña, Roselyn Sanchez, Dascha Polanco. I adapt them to whatever is being described. 

And rarely do I feel like I am the character, but when I do I just add my own real life H, lol! (is this one just a me thing? or has this ever happened to anyone?)

No Narrator just the images as I "watch" the story happening. 


Banana Boat my step-grandma does, she runs a program, like night school, two hours a day 5 days a week. She's a retired primary school teacher, who loves to teach so she decided to teach adults part time.

For me, its see a movie. In fact, I often can't recall if the scene I'm thinking about is from a book or a movie. Makes it extra hard to come up with the title of where that scene came from.

I definitely see a full movie when I read a book. I try my best not  to let the cover art ( if there is any) give me a preconceived mental image on how a character looks. I try to create one myself. Though sometimes it's difficult. To me Dorothy always looks like Judy Garland. Sometimes I will imaginevfriends,teachers,brothers,parents,grandparents,neighbors, myself as how the characters look like.
