I'm reading book 4 At Sixes and Sevens by MA Church and really enjoying it. I ended up buying it from Ammy since I had a gift card. If one of you would like to borrow it when I'm done, just let me know.

Will check out this book, I don't read a lot of paranormal M/M coz I find them too cheesy at times. This book sounds interesting though!

ana, you're welcome to borrow it now that I'm done. I wish I would have bought the first three at Dreamspinner this weekend, while they were on sale. You could read this as a standalone but if you can start with the first book, it would make it better.
Cutie and the Beast (Fae Out of Water Book 1) Eh, it was okay. Decent, I guess, but pretty standard PNR fare and a few niggles with character behavior. Got the series cheap from the publisher sale so eventually I'll read the sequels.
The Other Five Percent Again, not horrible but the dialogue was a bit stilted and overall pretty average.
The Remaking of Corbin Wale Nope. It just tried too hard to make the one H weird/mystical. I loved In the Middle of Somewhere but none of her subsequent books have been as good. Never say never but I doubt I'll be reading any more by her unless I get a sale.
Junkyard Heart (Porthkennack Book 7) Just about to start this. I forgot this was coming so it's a nice surprise. Her last couple releases haven't been her best but I'm hopeful--I read the first couple chapters on the publisher site and really liked 'em.
Junkyard Heart was pretty good. I didn't realize that the one H (along with some other characters) had been introduced in House of Cards (Porthkennack Book 4) so I think I'll appreciate it more after I've squeezed in a reread of that. The last chapter or two were kinda rushed but there's a fairly lengthy epilogue. Listed at 180 pgs but I think that's a bit inflated. I'd put it more in the 150-160 range but I could be wrong.
— Let It Snow (Minnesota Christmas Book 1) by Heidi Cullinan which was enjoyable. — Frat Boy and Toppy by Anne Tenino --I’d seen this title on a lot of lists so my expectations were high. It was pleasant but not likely a book I’ll reread. — I quite enjoyed Libby Drew’s 40 Souls to Keep which was a contemporary mystery/paranormal romance featuring two men. I’d previously read and enjoyed another book by this author, and I’d happily read more.
Oh, I really liked Frat Boy and Toppy. I thought they were a cute couple and I liked how the author played with the stereotypes a bit. Different strokes for different folks:)
Has anyone read Shadows in the Night by MA Church and then To Touch the Sky by MA Church? I really enjoyed the first one so I paid $6.99 for the second and so far it's a DNF. I just couldn't get into it. So much "oh I'm not worthy of my mate because 200+ years ago I didn't save my nephew while he stood frozen in the path of a buffalo." My absolutely least favorite trope. So you aren't worthy of your mate so you'll hurt him by playing hot and cold? Ugh. Does it get better?

I haven't read MA Church but I've been disappointed by quite a few sequels this year. I feel your pain:(

I really liked the MA Church series of Fur Felines and Fangs (or it's something like that) so decided to read this series. I don't know.....I might try To Touch the Sky again at some point but I just couldn't get into it this week. It's just me not liking the trope, not the writing. I have several MA Church books so if anyone is interested, let me know and I'll see if I can loan it to you.
