Fyi - I temporarily stopped reading this due to being sidetracked by a few other books (some book loans). What I've read I love and I'll get back to it soon. (I tend to do this when reading at times and it's not indicative of the book not being good.) I can't wait to get back to it tbh.

This was good! The H is definitely a non-pc, OTT controlling, stalkerific H. (I mean who has tracking implants put into a person??? - lol) The H crossed major lines here so if those kind of things - kidnapping, keeping the h tied up naked and implanting trackers in the h, bother you then avoid.

Nicole - I can loan it.
Glad you enjoyed it!! H is just as you describe him, he's so much into h that nothing and no one deters him from her! As for the author, she did an excellent job in keeping my attention. Normally I lose interest in serials except for this one. Waiting for the part 2 and 3 was tortuous. Aside from that I was actually able to retain the storyline in the previous one which is a first for me
summer49 - Oh my heck! You had to wait for the books to come out??? Lol! That would've been awful! I'm so glad the series was done when I started it. It would've been torturous for me too.

Yes, an experience never to be repeated again......all those months of waiting

Anna Zaires is one of my favorite authors: Not only does she write the hottest villainous heroes, her prose is beautiful and her books are plot heavy (very intense and sucks me in easily). I love her writing and the dark themes; I really can't think of a single author who writes as well as she does and features dark non-cheating heroes who are crazily obsessed with their heroines. Usually when it's dark romance, the hero either ends up cheating or isn't fixated/obsessed enough with the heroine (at least not in a "can't live without her" way), but Anna Zaires is the only author who writes edgy dark romance with "heroes" who can't live without their heroines. And she writes them in a non-cheesy, eye-roll manner. I've pretty much read all of her series and loved almost every one of her heroes equally because lol, they're all my type: Sleek, deadly, panther-like, intellectual hotties (master chess player, puppet-master, etc). Love Korum, Julian, and Peter the most! Lucas is probably the only one who's less my type since I find him a bit cruder than the others, but he's still very attractive.
Honestly, it's like Anna Zaires knows my mind and gives me the stories and heroes that I crave the most. I'm a sucker for good writing, cat/mouse dynamics between leads, and obsessive villainous heroes who can't let their heroines go no matter what.
