I was recently reading some of T.A. White’s books — not the Dragon Ridden Chronicles, which are currently on KU, but the Broken Lands series that starts with Pathfinder’s Way . This book was recommended by Ilona Andrews ( Pathfinder’s Way by T.A. White). Book 5 was just released on January 18. The author’s web site contains a description of the initial meeting of H and h from the H’s point of view.
Not sure this is relevant, but every so often there are banners up that say something like “The following new Harlequin books have been added to Kindle Unlimited “ with a link. I’ ll sometimes post whe I see this, but usually not. I suspect that what alerts you get depends, and your eligibility for certain promotions depends on how willing you are to get certain emails from Amazon. I’ve been renal busy at work recently, which has cut down on available time to search and post.
Not Romance: In Praise of Shadows by Junichiro Tanizaki, translated by Edward G. Seidenstecker This is a book of essays about æsthetics that has been on Kindle Unlimited for a long time (at least 6 or 7 years). The paperback, which I own, was published by a small press, and has a following that likely includes many people who probably have never read, or even particularly liked, this author’s literary works (The Makioka Sisters, etc. which I can’t find on Kindle now, but I think it used to be a Vintage International title from Random House). It ranges over architecture, colors, and food in a very simple, readable style, and is also a Great on Kindle title ( it has never gone on sale – I think lowest price was $5.36). Something completely different that some readers might want to try.
For Spanish Language readers: El faro de Alejandría (Spanish Edition) by Gillian Bradshaw I periodically check for books that I really wish were available on Kindle, and that includes Beacon at Alexandria by Gillian Bradshaw The Spanish edition came out in 2022, and is on Kindle Unlimited
I read this series at the very end of last year and WOW! I mean, the fact that I even remember the series is huge. That I still think about it is even more of a testament.

I have the first 2 books, I think I got them because you were gushing about the series . I can't wait to get to it, and relax. (Something I really need right now)
I discovered this author not that long ago, but I think her books are great. BDSM, multiple partners, she has a bit for everyone. The Footman (The Masqueraders series #1) by S.M LaViolette She's also writing as Minerva Spencer, if anyone else has read her books they know they are good but LaViolette penname (which I believe she's slowly transferring to Minerva Spencer) is a lot spicier and sexier to read.
