I'm looking to borrow Twisted and Tied (Marshals Book 4) by Mary Calmes. I had recommended the purchase to the library a few days ago, but they haven't bought it yet and I finished my reread of the first 3. TYIA.
Check your email, agreads! I went ahead and bought it because it is a Mary Calmes book (love her writing) and a new series of hers that I haven't read. My library has the first three so I have book one lined up and ready to read. Here we go!!! I'm hoping I love this series as much as I've enjoyed her other books. Thanks for tipping me off to it!
Thank you so much! I hope you enjoy it the series.
This is a fantasy set in a regency style era in a world with people (some of whom have gifts such as healing) but also with extra-large felines who talk, pull carriages, etc. It features a relationship between three people.
agreads, I borrowed this one from the Brooklyn Public Library several months ago and really enjoyed it. Not sure what your budget is (or where you're located!) but I have a membership there even though I'm several states away. I find the BL has many books I'm interested in and it saves me having to buy them. It's $50 for a year's membership.
Anyway, I'm sorry I don't have it to lend but wanted to let you know about BL in case that's an option. They don't have every book I'm interested in (M/M or M/F) but they have many of them, a whole lot more than my local library.

I have a membership to BPL, and also to my local library. I didn't even check to see if either library had it. Don't ask me why because I don't know. Lol. Thanks!
Looks like Lanyon will be doing some reissues so I went through my content to see what I still had available to loan.
((LOANED)) Short Stories: 2007 - 2013 8 very short stories. All decent but Until We Meet Once More is stellar. It was available separately for awhile but now it’s only in this set. One of the best short stories I’ve read. There’s a lot of depth and emotion in these few pages. They also have a very nice Christmas coda, which should still be on her site somewhere.
The Mermaid Murders: The Art of Murder I and books 2 & 3. I didn’t read book 4 and won’t until the series is complete. Book 1 was decent but I never really got invested in them as a couple. Series got progressively more meh.
Holiday Codas (2 book series) Not good standalones. It’s a collection of very short scenes featuring Hs from most of her books/novellas and some recipes. Some *very* sweet moments and nice to revisit favorite characters.
Winter Kill primarily mystery/suspense but I liked the scene where the H realizes he’s in love.
The Ghost Wore Yellow Socks and sequel. Decent. Some nice scenes with the Hs but ultimately kinda average. Book 1 was better overall but book 2 had a bit more emotion with the Hs.

mjbett, I'd love to borrow the short stories book if it's still available. Thank you!

Sent. Hope you enjoy! Lanyon has some lovely Christmas codas for these stories on her site. You’ll have to search her blog but it’s worth the effort. I listed the Coda # for the corresponding story. Christmas Coda 37: French have a Word Coda 26: Plain Sight Coda 25: Sunshine or Shadow Coda 16: Meet Once More (a wonderful epilogue to their story)
If you don’t want to bother trawling through her blog, I can loan the collected codas.

mjbett, thank you for the loan! I'm looking forward to reading the stories. I'll look for the codas during my lunch but I appreciate the offer of the loans. Thanks again!
Sadly, I’m not optimistic about Dreamspinner staying in business so I’m trying to list any of theirs I have available. I don’t want the loans to go to waste if they go under.
Amy Lane: You have to be in the mood for her (cheesy, OTT, and kinda unbelievable) but she’s entertaining if you don’t take it too seriously. ((LOANED)) Keeping Promise Rock ((LOANED)) Winter Ball
So Into You (The PI Guys Book 2) S.E. Harmon. Standalone, diff couple in the first book. I loved book 1 but this paled in comparison. Not bad, just nowhere near as good.

I enjoy Amy Lane's writing but I'm worried I'm hogging your loans! If no one else wants it, I'd love to borrow Winter Ball from you. Thanks so much!

Hog away, 😂 Really, they’re doing no good just sitting in my account. I’ve lost plenty of loans to reissues and publishers closing...such a waste. I’d like to get everything sent out. If you’re the only taker then go for it, I say.
