There wasn’t a huge plot to this story but I really liked the way the characters interacted. At the beginning of the story the h is leaving the H. They’ve been living together for three months. She wants a commitment, marriage in fact. She’s been asking for this for a while. But she just found out she’s pregnant and does not want him to marry her now just because of that. So she walks out on him, fully expecting to never see him again.
A week later he shows up, claims to have seen the light and within a week they are married. But on their wedding night, she finds out he knew about the pregnancy. The rest of the story is about them finding a way together.
What I really liked about this story was their absolute faith in one another. Neither one of them was willing to believe what other people said. She was convinced that he was, above all else, an honorable man. He was convinced that she loved him and that she’d never betray that love.
It was a short, but highly satisfying story. Sadly, this book does not seem to be available as a ebook, at least not on Ammy.
