Book review for "Sabrina and the Gargoyle" by Marie Dry.

I received an ARC of "Sabrina and the Gargoyle" by Marie Dry from Black Opal Books in return for an honest review.
This book started a little different than most others. It jumps right in to what seems like the middle of the story. I checked a couple of times to make sure I was at the beginning of the book. Sabrina has only been married to her husband, Mark, for a few months but she has begun to notice Mark has some disturbing behaviors. He moves really fast, she’s never seen him during the daylight, but most worrisome, he drags her out to numerous parties but when they arrive he abandons her and allows numerous other women to paw him and he sends her home alone while he stays with the other women. Then Sabrina finds out their marriage might not be based on love, at least, on Mark’s side. Mark seems to have a significant number of secrets and Sabrina is beginning to wonder just what is going on.
Sabrina annoyed me sometimes but she had many legitimate points of concern about Mark’s behavior. There is just enough POV from Mark to tantalize the reader but not so much it gives away too much of the story. I just had to keep reading to figure out why Mark seemed to love Sabrina but his behaviors, at times, were very much contrary to that premise.
I really did love Mark’s character especially after the reasons for his behavior are revealed.
I really hope there will be a sequel about Sabrina’s best friend, Mikaela.
