Ok so I am completely new to posting. Mostly I just am a lurking/looker But in order to get out there more I am going to try posting - plus all the recommendations give me great ideas of reads so; I want to share the good ones. I think this is where I should post the most recent book I read. It is an Irish Mafia book --- and I liked it very much. I have read lots and lots of books but don't think I have ever read a mafia book. But Crow was really good - definetly dark. So not for everyone. Here is the link. (I hope I did it right)
A. Zavarelli -- Ok it looks like I almost did it right accept the title didn't show. The title of the first book is "CROW"
Also, maybe I should give warnings. H - super alpha (which is a favorite of mine) - no cheating - but there are moments of roughness - and other men are aggressive with the women. I think that's all.
and thank you Veniamin for the recommendation on the series. It only took me 2 days to read Crow. He is very badd@ss if I am allowed to say that here. I can't wait to read Reaper. Sometimes when I read a series and fall for the H - I wonder how I could like any of the other Hs as much. But it happens all the time I just fall for them all.

lovesickjunkie - FYI - A lot of books that I like have anti-heroes that are non-pc, super controlling alpha-holes. Also, some books I love have potential triggers. If you have triggers that you want to avoid or you don't like anti-heroes or heroes that are super intense, possessive, almost psycho at times then be sure to ask me prior to reading anything I recommend, lol.

lovesickjunkie You're welcome, hon! I'm glad you liked it! and don't worry, Reaper it's just as good as Crow. Ronan its a badass in and out of the sheets. Very sweet and alpha at the same time IMO.
PS— this author (A. Zavarelli) it's a favourite of mine. There's a book by her called ECHO (Bleeding Hearts Duet) and it's amaaazing! a five star for me! you should give it a chance and check out her other series and standalones (like Beast, it was very nice too).

I my gosh you guys are the best! Samantha K and Veniamin ... I think when I see a book with trigger warning it makes me more interested to read it -that might make me sound nuts - Maybe that is why I have to post under an alias. I love crazy/dark in a romance book; my real life I like a little calmer. (Okay maybe I would want someone to kill to protect me) I am already a quarter of the way through Reaper...Ronan is super interesting and very messed up.... (in other words he's perfect) I went ahead and got a copy of Echo. A. Zavarelli is an intense writer-never heard of her before. She is taking me on quite a ride. I think I might need therapy once I'm done with her books.

citkat #1 Yikes...I just finished Reaper - A. Zavarelli It was good. But very disturbing. Warning and triggers flashing everywhere. H has been abused in many ways. And this makes him a very different and interesting character. The abuse makes him have a certain amount of vulnerabilty without taking anything away from him being a very alpha character. I did enjoy it/but very dark and another one that won't be for the weak hearted. Super possesive and stalker like if you like that sort of thing.

lovesickjunkie, I know I am weird. Not to many things bother me, I will definetly have to read. Thank you
Only things that really bother me are clowns and old dolls!! That stuff is creepy and beyond disturbing! Cant go to haunted houses because afraid a clown will jump out at me, then I would go to jail for beating the crap out of it! Like I said I am weird! LOL

@rgreader - I highly recommend Nero by Sarah Brianne. It's my favorite book by this author. So far, her other books haven't come close to having the wow factor that Nero did for me. I hope her new one is more like Nero.
