My Husband the Stranger - I loved this book but it is shorter so it had a less developed story. The H is a j/p alpha and he made the book for me. Some jealous scenes made me lol.

I actually really love this trope. I find it incredibly sexy when the hero has the self control to keep it in his pants till the level of his emotional "feels" matches the physical temptations... and that it only happens with our heroines and she's the one he can NOT resist. I actually find it far, far sexier than the plethora of root-rats who shag anything with a pulse and the correct "plumbing". I love it when there's no hero past shoved in the heroine's faces, or us readers (I really don't like reading pages of the hero sexing it up with women other than the heroine. Ick.).
Some of my fave virgin hero books are (in contemporary anyway, I have a bunch of paranormal virgin hero faves too):
Double Tap by Lani Lynn Vale (and special mention here to Last Day of My Life because while it's not specifically stated, you get the impression that they are each other's first and only - certainly it's the case for the heroine but you get the impression same goes for the hero. Plus there's a tragic separation of the young married couple for 7 years, and they BOTH manage to keep it in their pants, even though he believes she'd died). Katie Allen's Breaking the Silence. This one's hard to get now - she's getting her Ellora's Cave rights back and will hopefully eventually reissue it. Katie Ruggle's Gone Too Deep - strong, silent, huge, virgin, mountain man type, what's not to love. This is Katie Allen's new publishing name. Piper Davenport's The Promise - each other's first and only. Jo Davis' Under Fire - smokin' hot virgin firefighter!! Robyn Carr's Shelter Mountain - huge, quiet, shy, ex-marine virgin type. Tillie Cole's Souls Unfractured - trigger warning - both hero and heroine suffered abuse as children. Tragic pasts but beautiful love story.
One of my favs with the virgin hero and heroine theme is Shielding Lily by Alexa Riley. A light, low-to-no-angst read. One of my to-go reads whenever I'm in a reading funk or need a "bleach" from an alphahole H.
I second the rec for Katie Allen's Breaking the Silence. I'm reading Katie Ruggle's Search and Rescue series at the moment. Third book in the series Gone Too Deep is the one with the virgin H as neeta mentioned. I'm enjoying the series but, I'm annoyed by the fact that the books end at around the 75/80 % and the remainder is excerpts of following books.

Yeah, that annoys me too.
They aren't short books though - at between 380 and 450 pages, even with 25% other stuff it's still like 285 - 340 pages of main story so I don't think we're being shortchanged or anything - I just think of it as getting really good length previews of her next book.
Hadn't looked at it that way 😊.. Have you read Katie Ruggle's K9 series ?
Yes, there's only one so far in this new series and I liked it! Hero was a bit slow to warm up and arsey at first but he came good But then she is Katie Allen and I liked those as well.

I hadn't thought of it that way either. Good point! 😀
