Omg!! I recently read this book and I loved it. I even loved the cliffhanger because it was THAT good!

It really isn't your usual shifter or rejection story. I know someone says that about every shifter/rejection story, but in this case it’s true. Clayton is the story of a simple female rediscovering herself and finding her true path after being burned by the flames of several betrayals that left her breathless; not knowing how to breathe again. The h, Rya, has been through so much (leaving the reader breathless right along with her) and yet she makes herself move forward. She chooses to be better not bitter. But make no mistake, this h is no doormat!

True, a certain male, Dr. Valentine, gives her that first little breath that helps her start to breathe again, but it was she who chose to LIVE.

I absolutely loved this book and was personally inspired by it. The characters and situations are layered, complex; they jump right off the page.

I’ve already started reading the sequel, Dallas! It picks right up where Clayton left off, and so far it promises to be every bit as good as the first one.
