Gil & Chloe were friends forever. They rested in a cottage when caught in a heavy rain. The next day they were discovered.

for marriage. Chloe visited her BFF & Gil's sis, Tish and her spouse in London. Chloe and Tish were charmed by flirty George,
Lord Rival. Geo. hid his near poverty & won at cards w/ mostly married ladies. It took too long for the 2 ladies to see George's
true nature. Geo was tired of ironing his own clothes and polishing his boots. He was full of boredom & self-loathing. George
was featured in the next book, The Fortune Hunter, Lord Rival #2.
Gil was 2x the man George was. IMHO, George took up too much of Gil & Chloe's story.
