Enjoyed Savvy's (aka Savannah) story. Because of Savvy's mother's death she was shuttled off to several foster homes until she landed in one that actually cared about her. Kite on the other hand left home after being arrested (still in high school); he went to live with his uncle. Kite's father was unbearable to live with...he was a hard, cruel and controlling man.
Eleven years later Savvy uses a fake backstage concert pass to talk to Kite. She needs his help. This meeting sets in to motion their past, his pain, his loss and the hope that everything he loves doesn't slip away....again.
The thing that brought this down to 4 Stars is the "kink" factor...or lack of it. After Kite's kinky sex life being mentioned in previous books, by his band mates and others in town, the actual kink was lack luster. It had such a build up only to end up pretty "basic" stuff. IMHO. I was expecting more....or maybe we're suppose to envision more?
