That's about all i remember. Was re-reading a book and thought 'Oh, this is the one where she wins the recipe contest.' But it wasn't and then I couldn't remember if it was a recipe, baking or cooking contest. But, of course, now it's stuck in my head and I can't get it out. It's contemporary and I read it within the last 3 years.
It's not Mirepoix (A Recipe Of Love Book 1) by Paige Conners. She won the contest at the beginning of the book. In the one I'm looking for it was further in.

Why is it, the more books I read the taller my tbr stack gets?
Is it the one where the hero sees her talking to a reporter and thinks she is dishing the dirt on him? He kicks her out and treats her horribly. Meanwhile she was talking about the contest she won. He humiliated her on tv I think. Told her secrets or something. And then blind sided her on a talk show to apologize...

Well with the further info that omnivore reminded me of, I've searched my Goodreads. Either I didn't log it, logged it with obscure shelves or read it before I started keeping track because I haven't found it yet. bummer.

Stumbled upon it while browsing thru the 'h suspected of wrongdoing (NOT cheating)' thread. I actually did have it marked as read in Goodreads. Only had it listed on a couple of shelves like "read", "contemporary" and "funny", which means i logged it early on. I only had a few shelves at first to give a general idea of where a book fell. Read, Want to Read, Mystery, Funny, Historical, etc. I didn't start expanding my shelves until mid last year. Now I'm trying to figure a way to tame them a bit.
