I have read a book a couple of years ago and would want to read it again, but I don't know the title or the author.
The plot is something like this:
The main character is Kode and a girl maybe named Riley (I'm not sure). They were in kind of a hate relationship since childhood and little by little they started to care for each other, but they are hiding it from their friends and family. Kode was actually in love with Riley's(?) sister when they were younger, but because of some letter they were never together. In the present, there is a bunch of them, male friends, cousins and brothers and their girls/wives and they always hang out together. I remember a scene where Kode pushed Riley(?) in a pool at some party because she was talking/flirting with some other man. He was jealous, but she didn't know that because it was the beginning of the book and he didn't come clean yet. She thought that he was doing it out of hate.
I know that I don't have much information, but I really hope that someone knows the title.
Loving War by C.M. Owens. Main characters Kode and Tria. Kode used to be in love with her sister Rain. He shoves her into the pool. Kode and all his brothers used to treat her badly as they were growing up. Oh the thing with the letter, Rain and her MMC (in a previous book) were separated for years. Kode took the letter Rain left for Dane so they didn't get back together.
