Contemporary m/f romance Sex scenes but kept to minimum, not too detailed and flow with the story Mention of God and beliefs but not a religious book Brief mention of suicide Hero does swear a lot but it is in keeping with his character Available on KU
An angry but kind hearted tattoo artist blaming himself for his twin brothers disability after a childhood accident. Toxic parents, in particular the mother who was very nasty, get an explanation for her actions at the end and there is some healing in the relationship between son and parents. Our hero is in therapy to try resolve his issues after he considered suicide. Meets his complete opposite, a little ray of sunshine who has had her own difficulties. Slowly transforms into a better person with the new people he slowly lets into his life. A lot of coincidences or is it fate in how all the characters are interlinked. While a more serious read it is not a sad read and we have a happy ending. Well written, didnt notice any obvious typos.
Rated as 4/5
I have also read Scars and Silver Linings by this author which I though was excellent.

Thanks for the review, bluebear. This has been on my Wish List since last October when a reader I follow on Goodreads gave it 5 Stars. I had forgotten about it til now, nice to have a second recommendation. 😊
I noticed it has an audible version narrated by Brad Warden, I’ve not come across his name before.
