Hi everybody!!
So I was perusing the goodreads historical forum and I came across this request by another user. This book sounds interesting but no one has been able to find the title. I just know you guys can do it ( your memories are pretty darn amazing)

I'm looking for a traditional regency I read a while back. I would really, really appreciate if anyone could help me with title or author:
The H and the h confess their love to one another, but the H suddenly gets 'cold feet' and the very next day the h sees him kissing someone else (in a garden, I think).
The actual story starts a few years later. The h is about to become engaged to someone else, who is very conventional and boring, with a terrible mother (of course!). I think the h's own family is quite artistic and unconventional.
The H has now decided that he wants her back and, with the help of her family, sets about sabotaging the impending engagement.
Does this sound familiar to anyone?
I remember enjoying the book quite a lot and it's driving me crazy that I can't remember the title or the author.
