SOLVED: Looking for a Diana Palmer book

I can only remember one scene:

It's at the end of the book. The H and h are officially together. Seems like they have been away from home and when they return the h has gone somewhere in town with another man. Can't remember what they were doing but some business of some kind maybe a visit to the bank or a lawyer. The H sees the h and this other man together but instead of just asking the h what the deal was, the H invites another woman (maybe the daughter of a client) to ride with him in his car. The H deliberately drives by either the h or someone he knows will tattle to the h so that the h will know he is with another woman.

Seems like the angst / misunderstanding from this deliberate jerkiness on the H's part is fairly short lived. At the end of the book, the H tells the h what his purpose was (to make her jealous) when he deliberately invited the other woman to ride in his car with him
