Top 5 Favorite Romances of all time

I've only been reading romance for a few years. It will be hard to pick five, but here's my list for now. Subject to change on a different day.

Dragon Prince by Melanie Rawn
Annie's Song by Catherine Anderson
MacKenzie's Mountain by Linda Howard
Gabriel's Inferno by Sylvain Reynard
Broken by Nicola Haken

This is a really hard one for me. My top, top, top books probably changes yearly. But there are a few that never waver:

Devil's Bride - Cynster Book 1 - Stephanie Laurens - has my favorite trope, H sees h and decides she's the one he's going to marry.
Mastered by Love - Bastion Club Book 8 - Stephanie Laurens - similar trope, but the h doesn't know she's the one he's pursuing.
A Touch of Sin - St. John-Duras Book 4 - Susan Johnson - one of only two of her books that I liked. I'm not sure why this one is so compelling for me, but it is.

The Madness of Lord Ian MacKenzie - MacKenzie Series Book 1 - Jennifer Ashley - Ian's declaration of love is just swoon worthy. How could you not love him.
Wildest Hearts - Jayne Ann Krentz - my favorite Krentz contemporary

I'm going to leave it at these three for now. I'll chew on this for a few days and some some more later.

ETS - see, this is why I needed to leave it for a bit. How could I have forgotten The Madness of Lord Ian MacKenzie. Thank you Tangerine. I remembered another one too.

Have you listened to the audio version? The narrator does a wonderful job of Ian's ' voice' .. loved the Scottish brogue 😊

I love audio books too but I don't buy them because they are so expensive. I borrow them from the library if they're available. I'll have to look. Unfortunately, my library doesn't have the best selection but sometimes I get lucky.

If you like historicals, The Bride by Julie Garwood ... as you can see by my previous post is one of my all time favourite books .. is only $1.99 and if you buy the kindle version you can then purchase the audio for about $7.00 . I've purchased quite a few audio books this way
