Looking for two books where the h's husband cheats

In the first book I'm looking for, H and h are married. He starts using drugs and cheats. They divorce and he comes back a few years later, clean. H's father was an addict as well and h has a miscarriage about the same time he leaves her.
In the second book, h's husband and H's wife cheat together. And H goes to h's house to confront her. I remember the cheating spouses take some sort of trip and h's husband regrets cheating when he realizes the grass is not always greener on the other side. H and h stay together.
