SOLVED - HR, H with monocle, maybe Mary Balogh

I'm looking for an HR that I think is a Mary Balogh book, or possibly Carla Kelly or Grace Burrowes.  The H is titled, big and gruff, and has an eyepiece/monocle that he often uses to express feelings (kind of like a "raised eyebrow" type of body language).  He intimidates most people, except for the h, of course.  That's all I can remember for sure about the book is the bit with the monocle.
