I find myself in the situation of having about a dozen books that I know nothing about. I've never heard of the authors. I'm sure most people would not be troubled by this but here's the thing.....
I CANNOT dnf a book! Stupid, I know, but that's the way it is for me.
So if I start one of these and then don't like it, I'm stuck with it until I finish.
I bought these books with the best intentions. They were all on bargain tables or some such. I thought it would be a great way to try new authors without wasting much money. But now I just sit and stare at them. What if they're really bad. Then I move on and reread something else instead. Which defeats the whole purpose of buying them in the first place.
But maybe you kind people can help me. A recommendation from someone here would probably convince me to try them.
If you recognize one of these books, can you tell me: 1) Did you like it? Was it great, or so so? 2) Does it have an HEA? If it's a HFN, please explain. 3) Is there any cheating? 4) What is the mood, dark, lighthearted, angsty, funny, etc. 5) Heat level, where 1 is kisses only and 10 is "where's my fan"
Was just checking and I'm supposed to have a copy of this somewhere, but haven't read it yet. However, I do have a note that both the hero and the heroine are virgins, it's 1893, Americana Colorado, and the heroine is A Plain Jane. It sounds like one I might enjoy reading, hopefully someone can shed more light on it.
