I'm re-reading the Unearthly series by Laura Thalassa. I'm on the 2nd book now. This series is YA so there is some of the typical and annoying characteristics of a young adult novel (h who waffles and makes bad decisions, hint of a love triangle, excessive age difference h-16 H-700ish) but I really like this author and remember enjoying the first three or four books in the first time read.
alyrica - I LOVE Laura Thalassa. She's a great writer. I've considered reading that series too but was worried about the YA aspect as I don't care for younger H's and h's in books. At least the H is older, lol. It tempts me, greatly.

I've just started the Lady Julia Grey series by Deanna Raybourn - Silent in the Grave. flipoid kindly lent it to me. I'm liking it so far.
and a re-read of Amanda Quick's Reckless
tealadytoo that is one of my very favorite Amanda Quick books. I just read for the first time recently. I've been gradually collecting copies of all the ones I didn't have yet.

I just finished book 2 and the series is getting better. The series is about a girl who initially doesn't know about the supernatural world or that she is supernatural. She gets invited to attend a boarding school and decides to go in an effort to learn bout her family who died when she was little. What makes the tale interesting though not unique is the beliefs and teachings of the supernatural in regards to a black or white perception of beings being either good or evil. The h has to battle the fear and hatred of her peers, teachers, bosses etc while also literally battling evil. I know you like a super j/p H,as do I but the H in this one isn't OTT. He has moments, a lot of them actually but he cares for her so much that there are opportunities he doesn't take. I really like him even if he isn't stalkeriffic. Due to the fated mate trope this series is a bit instalovish which isn't my preference. I don't know if I would recommend this to someone who doesn't like young characters though because there are so many YA elements in this series (no triangle thankfully)It is on KU though which is a plus. Overall, I am really enjoying this series and am ready to start book 3.
I intended to start Undiscovered (Treasure Hunter Security Book 1) by Anna Hackett the other day. Instead, I ended up rereading two other books. I guess I will get to Undiscovered tonight.

Lol... this happens to me all the time lately. I have so many partially read books that I can't remember what is new and what I've started to read.
